I have two Birchbox accounts. I have signed up on two different emails. I love Birchbox! It is one of the oldest subscription boxes out there. The boxes are so cute and they come with awesome brands. I have discovered many favorite brands through this service. Every month they allow you to pick one of your samples or opt for the guest editor/featured box. On one of my accounts, I opted for the featured box. This box usually ships faster as well.

The box for August was awesome. I love the print so much! I couldn’t wait to dig in and see what all was inside!

Living Proof No Frizz Nourishing Oil
This is a sample size. I love Living Proof so much and will always welcome samples of this brand. I also love hair oils so I am excited to try this one.
Beauty Protector Protect & Detangle
This is sample size! I use this product all the time and I love it. It is an AMAZING detangler. I will save this one for when I travel.
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Patina
This is a sample size! I love the shade of this liquid lipstick. The formula on these liquid lipsticks is okay. I can’t wait to try this one on my lips.
Marcelle BB Cream Golden Glow
This is a sample size. I received this sample before and it is a bit too dark for my skin tone. I might use it to warm up my foundation for a summer glow, but I will most likely give it away.
Acure Organics Coconut & Argan Oil Cleansing Towelettes
This is a deluxe size sample. I love cleansing towelettes and you can never have too many of them. I will save these for traveling. I can’t wait to try them.
OVERALL IMPRESSION:
This was an awesome box. It was much better than the July featured box. The sample sizes were decent sized and I can get a few uses out of them. I am sure most of you have heard that Birchbox is making some drastic changes. I am not thrilled about the changes. They have changed their point system which is the main reason why I loved Birchbox so much. I hope they start including FULL SIZED products now to compensate. If they do, I will stay subscribed. I really liked the August box. I will probably cancel one of my subscriptions and keep the other. This way I can see what Birchbox will do in the future. What did you receive in your Birchbox?
