Each year, we’ve had the privilege of watching this sweet girl grow up in front of our camera. Having documented her since her first birthday, and each year that follows, it’s such a joy to watch who she is growing up to become. This year as she turns 3, she was one big bundle of energy. Fascinated with the bright colorful leavings falling here in Nashville, Aubrey Jo, also known as “Priss” to those who love her dearly, had a blast running and running and running all around during the shoot. Priss and her mom Julianne live on a big piece of land in the middle of Georgia, so Priss is in that stage of exploring every little territory she can get her pink boots on. As Julianne said, “I don’t know if we got any Pinterest worthy shots today, but this is actually who Priss is at this age.” Julianne even let Priss pick out her own outfit so she could feel she has ownership of representing her personality of who she is as a 3-year-old. Rocking her cheetah headband like a pirate, she enjoyed playing swords with her mom with the long stem roses we used during parts of the shoot, or showing off her stick she found. She might have been in a tutu during past years photoshoots, but this year she’s definitely starting to show she just might be a little bit more tom boy at heart.
Here’s some of my favorite photos from the afternoon playing with Priss and her momma!
