ASOS Holiday Order

By Bethtinkerbell @TinksLostGirls

On Saturday I decided to place a quick order on ASOS to pick up some new clothes for my holiday, I built up a basket of over £500 worth of clothes when I had a budget of only £50! I did manage to get my basket down to £46 and bought 3 new items of clothing to try.

When I got home today my parcel had arrived so I took the opportunity to try them on for my mom in the lounge, and then made her take photos so that I could see what they looked like.

Item number one was this Skull Print T-shirt Dress which was £20, not a bad price at all. I decided to snap it up because last time there was a similar dress it sold out before I could buy it and I was gutted. However, I’m not overly impressed with this dress, I bought a size 22 which has a nice lose fit. For me the collar is too high up and I want to cut it off, having spent £20 on a dress it’s not something I feel comfortable doing. I do wish that I’d also bought the 20 so that I could compare how the fit is.

I am going shopping tomorrow though so I think i’ll look for something similar in Primark at a price i’m happy to pay for something I want to cut the collar off.

Next up we have this Tie Dye Print Skater Skirt which is from the main range, in the sale at £8! It’s a bargain and fits, so I will be keeping it, I bought in a size 18 and it is perfect for my holiday. If you’re a 20 then it’ll easily fit you, and it could be worth checking out the other main range skirts. I’m on the edge of a 20/22 at the moment and i’m having a lot of look at fitting in 18’s and 20’s.

I saved the best ‘til last with this Cold Shoulder Stripe Dress from the Curve range, it’s only £18 in the sale and so I couldn’t leave it behind. I bought it thinking that it would be ideal for wearing during the day, but my mom is convinced that it’s best for wearing in an evening, i’ll be getting plenty of wear out of it! I bought a size 20 and it fits perfectly so i’d definitely say stick to your normal size.

I know that not many people like the cold shoulder dresses, but I think they’re amazing and ASOS also have this Cold Shoulder Shirt Dress which I think would be ideal for dressing up in an evening. If I do send back the skull print dress along with last weeks ASOS order then I may buy it once my refund comes through.

I am off shopping tomorrow and hopefully I’ll be able to pick up the last few things I need for my holiday. I don’t need too much now, I mean I have 10 dresses!

Do let me know what you think of my purchases, especially the skull print dress.

Tink x
