Charlotte Emma Aitchison, better known by her stage name Charli XCX, is a British singer and songwriter. 21 years old this British star is expanding her incredible work around the world! This astounding young artist started her career in 2007; her first music release was late September of 2008. Throughout the years this artist was well know thought Europe and Asia. it wasn’t until her album True Romance, was released on 12 April 2013 and peaked at #85 on the UK Albums Chart.The album failed to appear on any international main albums charts, but it did reach #5 on the US Billboard Top Heatseekers Finally in she toured throughout Europe with Ellie Goulding and finally made her way into the states and Canada touring with Maria Dimandis.
This Fabulous girl has found they way to top and will do anything to achieve her goals. Around March 2014 she released a song with artist Iggy Azalea called “Fancy ” by May of 2014 the song hit the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100. Also in may Charli contributed the song “Boom Clap” for the soundtrack to The Fault in Our Stars. The song was released as the album’s first single and has currently peaked at number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming both her first charting single and first Top 20 hit as a lead artist.
It may have take this young singer some time to make it throughout the globe but she has done remarkably well throughout her journey. She has had a few events attending since October of 2014 and a few upcoming events starting on the 17th in Spain and continuing through the summer throughout Europe and the States. This singe/songwriter has captured my attention for many reasons, one of them being her remarkably wondrous sound, and the way her lyrics linger in my mind on a constant replay. Someone once told me that if a song is still stuck in your mind constantly replaying the artist has done a remarkable job in with the listeners soul. We only wish this amazing artist the best and we patiently await her upcoming releases, surely they will be just as amazing as her previous creations.
