Artisan Hand-loomed Turkish Towel Review

By Vsudarsan

I'm always happy to introduceyou to artisan-made goods. Today's review is about a pestemal ( pesh-te-mahl), an authentic Turkish bath towel. It is flat-woven with hand-tied fringe and typically made of Turkish cotton, linen, or even silk. These are colorful, fast drying, and absorbent. It is one of the most important element of the Turkish bath experience.

Here's my review on the luxurious, comfy, and hand-woven PSTML's Turkish towels! I could tell the authenticity and originality of this product as soon as I opened the packet. The fact that that these towels are weaved in a small village in Southern Turkey named Babadag makes them even more special. These artisans are descendants of weavers going back to several centuries.

These towels come with a ton of features. You can fold them small and take them with you even to your gym. They dry more quickly after use, and they don't take on a musty smell. The fact that this towel is more eco-friendly and energy-efficient than a typical terry cloth towel makes them stand out in them market. The different shades of towels made by PSTML look amazing and it is bound to add an elegant touch to any room. It might sound a bit pricey, but in the long run it will pay off. Here are a few pictures of how stunning the towel I received looks in my bathroom and some of their other shades -
