Art2people is a new and unique crypto collective whose aims are to combine connoisseurship, collecting and new audiences in an interactive way of producing and distributing digital art works.
Art2people has grown organically over the last year into a small community of leading artists that have become more than just collaborators, rather they are friends. The names of those within the collective are not newcomers, everyone within the collective has years and years of experience and they are experts in their own fields. The unique perspective of the A2P community is the level of depth and exchange of ideas that comes from the very diverse art practice and different approaches of the artists, and these dynamics when combined produce an exciting and symbiotic potential.
A2P is a believer in real human connections and embraces this by bringing its artists not just together in the digital space, but also gives them a physical framework for collaborations by inviting and hosting events around the world, where artists work, discuss and play together over a period of several days in these events.
By working internationally and bringing in artists from many different disciplines and art processes, from sculptors to photography, to CGI, Illustration and music producers, a sense of diversity and challenge builds new forms of expertise and collective response to the questions that face all of us in the 21st century. The future is ever closer and Art2people is the collective arbiter of it.
Art and Commerce have generally been seen as opposing forces in the past, almost fighting against each other. However we believe that by connecting Art and Commerce in new ways, which is one of the strengths of the NFT community, and which is the aim of Art2people. If artist and commercial clients work together in a bi-lateral and fair exchange way, they can aim to be true collaborators.
Art2People is already working on several NFT projects for cross-industry luxury brands bringing their expertise to transforming the approach. The successful consultancy method needs experts in emerging NFT space and ART2PEOPLE’S collective of self taught and innovative NFT artists can give clients and brands the most in depth advice on how to successfully build and launch NFT projects that are innovative, and authentic to the brand’s DNA and also to the community itself.
Art2people sets out to bring artists together around a particular topic and to highlight new ideas and modes of digital art in response to that topic. Artists are invited to take part in a venture according to their different interests and approaches, and with the aim of opening up new forms and dialogues. Diversity breeds innovation, and Art2people intends to be a new space. The intention is to have 4 or 5 of these drops each year, and to make external links with other associations and galleries to widen the impact. The first such collaboration is around the idea of Gaia, of thinking about the planet as a living, sentient being, a world that we are all part of and which needs our attention.
