My Experience with Aroma Magic Cucumber Sunscreen SPF 30:

You all know how much I love Aroma Magic products and recently I picked up two sunscreens from Aroma Magic with SPF 15 and 30. I began using the SPF 30 sunscreen first as I’m using a pigmentation treatment cream at night which makes my skin more susceptible to sun damage and  sun burn so I make sure I use a high SPF sunscreen. SPF 30 is enough but still not that high for my needs. I usually wear it while I’m at home and as it’s holiday season for me as I mostly bunk my college, I use it when I’m in house and while going out, I use a sunscreen with SPF 40 and above.

The instruction says to use it after shaking it as natural ingredients tend to separate. So, I always shake it for 3-4 seconds and while shaking, it almost feels like a liquid product, the cream sounds like liquid while shaking though it is creamy when poured out. The texture is creamy and quite runny with slightly heavy texture, by heavy I mean that it feels slight heavy on application.

It has a very mild refreshing fragrance which feels summery and pleasant.

Coming to how it behaves on application! The sunscreen takes few minutes to absorb properly, I keep on rubbing for like 3-4 minutes as I apply almost a tsp full of sunscreen, not that I measure my sunscreen in a spoon while applying
Razz
but I have the idea of how much is a tsp and how much has to be applied on face to get maximum protection from the sun. It does not leave any whitish caste and absorbs nicely but cautious- it burns my eyes and makes them watery if I apply this sunscreen around my eyes. Yeah, the biggest drawback of such an herbal product, it makes my eyes watery and more problematic if I’m in the sun so I hesitate applying this sunscreen around my eye area. Some sunscreens do burn and makes eyes watery when applied around the eyes like Neutrogena dry touch shield SPF 50 (the amazing sunblock) it also burns the eyes and so dermatologist recommends not to apply it around eye area.

This sunscreen lotion feels slightly greasy on my dry skin so it’s totally a skip for oily skin, oily skin should try the other variants from this sunscreen range. It calms the skin, prevents me from tan and sun burn.
