Today I would be reviewing my current favorite face pack- Aroma Magic Beauty Pack that I use on days when my skin feels dull and tired. I’m using it more often than I use any face pack because of the amazing active ingredients in it and mainly because it has Alpha Hydroxy Acids. Move on to know more about this pack..

Product Claims:

An AHA pack that balances uneven skin tone, lightens & brightens the skin. Regenerates cellular tissues & slows down skin aging process to reveal a healthier, lighter and radiant looking skin.

Directions to Use:

Apply on to clean face and rinse off after 20 minutes. Follow up with Aroma Magic Almond Moisturizing Lotion and Sunscreen. Avoid applying the pack under the eyes.

Ingredients:

AHA, Extracts of Orange Peel, Aloe Vera, Clove, AHA fruit Extracts, Grape Seed & Pure Essential Oils of Neroli, Orange & Petitgrain.

My Experience with Aroma Magic Beauty Pack:

I love using AHA and glycolic acid products because I feel they do exfoliation really well than those granulated regular scrubs. A glycolic acid or AHA product is a must in my skin care routine and I make sure, I have included some product that contains these acids in my routine, can be anything from a toner to a night cream to a face pack, to a day cream. Now, I’m using a doctor prescribed glycolic acid cream, this face pack which contains AHA and also a glycolic acid toner. I can see a huge difference in my skin when I include AHA and glycolic acid products in my skin care routine and that doctor prescribed cream is really doing wonders, will share the review soon, when I’ll get onto my second tube. Till then, keep it a suspense

This face pack comes in a round tub jar and the product is secured with a foil seal below the cap. The packaging is travel friendly but is unhygienic as you have to dip the fingers in the tub to get the product out!

The mask has a creamy texture and spreads easily and nicely on to face. It dries in 20-25 minutes and I like to keep it for a little long just to get extra benefits out of it. It may burn a bit initially if you are using it for the first time or using any AHA product for the first time, my skin is quite used to Alpha-hydroxy-acid products so the pack doesn’t burn much on my skin.
It has a strong minty clove fragrance but nothing artificial, it smells pretty much of the ingredients used in this pack but those who are sensitive to strong scent will not like it as it stays for as long as the pack is on the face.

I use my packs by patting some water on my face so that my skin doesn’t get dry by using a face pack, if you want great results, you can use a serum (gel one) before using any pack as a pack helps the active ingredients in a serum penetrate into deeper layers of skin giving quick long-lasting results. As I don’t have a serum handy now, I either use water or a hydrating toner before using this pack and then I spread a thin layer of this pack on my face and neck, I keep it around for 25 minutes and sometimes more if I’m busy doing something else. It needs a little effort in rinsing off which is not much, the pack sticks to the face that’s why you need some effort to rinse it off but I feel that the active ingredients in this pack reacts better as it kind of sticks to the face making the ingredients penetrate better into the skin.

After rinsing off the pack, I feel my skin looks much brighter, fresh, clean and soft. It adds an instant glow to face so for those days when you have to attend a party or a function and you have no time to do facial or clean up, just take steam and use this pack, you will see instant difference in your skin. It does help even out the skin tone with regular use but not for those who have heavy pigmentation or uneven skin tone. It also helps calm down pimples though does not reduce them but reduces the redness of pimples!

I use it more often (twice a week or sometimes thrice) just because it has AHA in it and that it really works if used regularly! I don’t find much cons in it except that it may not help slow down aging or reducing heavy pigmentation or uneven skin tone.

• Takes time to dry completely!
• Strong fragrance which may not be liked by everyone.
• Takes time in rinsing off.

A Hit or Miss for Me: A hit

as I ignore the cons and love the way it adds an instant glow to my face. It brightens the face, makes my skin soft and helps in balancing out the uneven skin tone with regular use. I’m loving this face pack currently and will try the new version of this beauty pack soon that now comes in red tube packaging.
