Today’s reading-themed post at Armchair BEA is about novellas and short stories. I’ve never been much of a fan of the short form — I prefer a novel that I can sink into for awhile. But, it was short stories that got me to read e-books, a big turning point!
Suzanne Brockmann published several stories featuring characters from her Troubleshooters, Inc. series as short e-books: When Tony Met Adam, Beginnings and Ends, and Headed for Trouble. I loaded them on my phone and discovered that I could, indeed, read e-books if they were short and fun! At about the same time, she published a short piece to introduce a new futuristic world that I really loved: Shane’s Last Stand.

Do you read short fiction?
