So a while back and when I say a while back I mean way back, I kindly received a new product by ARK skincare. I've previously reviewed products by ARK skincare and they're just simply beautiful. It's a skincare brand that really takes everyone's skincare issues into consideration. Their primer, which I also reviewed is a product that I would highly recommend! I've finally completely used up this product and with skincare these days I prefer to take a longer time to review them just so that I know what benefits it's given me. So after months the review of the ARK regenerating skin defence* is here.

Defends against the effects of aging and environmental stress whilst stimulation skin repair."The Ark regenerating skin defence is a product that's created to be used under your moisturiser. It's a product targeted towards anti aging and helps to defend environmental stress and helps to reveal younger brighter skin. It contains ingredients such as vitamins B3, C and E, hyaluronic acid which helps to add plumpness and firmness, and camelina oil which helps to improve skin elasticity. The packaging is really great. It's simple and easy to use. I'm not sure if you can see this in the image but you have to twist the top part of the container for the product to come out and one twist is more than enough. It's really hard to describe what the product itself appears to be like as it's something in between the consistency of a moisturiser and a gel. I'll stick with gel. It's not too thick nor thin. So a perfect consistency. I apply this under my moisturiser but sometimes on it's own and it does the job perfectly. It gets absorbed into my skin straight away and you can actually feel your skin being hydrated. After applying it, it leaves my skin feeling quite soft and quite firm as well. It claims to add radiance to your skin and I agree with that. I sometimes just use this and no makeup and it just makes my skin look like it has a glow. If I am not using makeup after applying this, it means it works! I can almost feel my skin appearing firm and radiant. On dull skin days, which is a big issue of mine, this is my go to product. Overall, it makes my skin appear healthy and hydrated. It's also helped with my dry skin issues. Another thing I've noticed is that, it almost evens out your skin surface because when I apply makeup on top of this it glides on without using any primer. Thumbs up for that! The only thing I am not too keen on is the scent. It's not bad but just a little strong for me. For some that might be all good. It's quite pricey at £70 (50 ml) and more towards your higher end skincare, but worth every penny.
