What is an ipsy bag? If you subscribe, you get a makeup bag filled with deluxe samples/full-sized beauty products for $10/month. They also offer tutorials with stylists using the same products that you receive. I started off with birchbox in March & April & was more than pleased, until I received my ipsy bag. It had full sized products & was more “me.” Plus, if I fell in love with a product, they were MUCH more affordable than the products I received in birchbox. On to my review!

As you can see, I did not get that bag. They said it did not meet their quality standards, so they sent me a substitute bag with the promise that I would get the pink bag with my May subscription.

Pros: 1. Really pretty,light shimmery pink. 2. You can change the intensity by wearing it wet. 3. Extremely gentle, free of preservatives, chemicals, dyes, talc, oils & other fillers. 4. Can be mixed with clear lip-gloss, clear mascara & clear nail polish. 5. Full size product. 6. A little bit goes a long way.
Cons: 1. Price tag.
Verdict: I normally wouldn’t have purchased because of the price tag, but thanks to my ipsy bag subscription I was able to receive a beautiful product for a fraction of the price!

I applied to my dry hair. This is after several applications over a few days without washing.
Pros: 1. I love that they provided a coupon code for a discount if you fell in love with the product. 2. Helps fight moisture & frizz while keeping hair smooth & shiny. 3. Protects against heat & environmental stress. 4. Made with Moroccan Argan Oil. 5. Smells nice. 6. Can be used on wet or dry hair. 7. A little bit goes a long way.
Cons: 1. Price tag. {pretty standard for salon products though}
Verdict: I would have considered purchasing if I didn’t already have a few products that were similar in my hair product stash.

Pros: 1. A girly lavender-rose color. 2. Affordable, especially with coupon code. 3. Formaldehyde, DBP & Toluene Free.
Cons: 1. I already had a shade identical to this, so I did not use it & gave it as a gift.
Verdict: I would consider purchasing in the future because they have a large variety of colors & at $5 a bottle, it is very affordable.

Cons: 1. Price tag.
Verdict: I normally wouldn’t purchase because of the price tag, but now that I’ve tried this brand & enjoy it, I would consider purchasing other shades.
