Anyways, so today my April GlossyBox arrived! It felt like a really long month for some reason so I was super excited to see it waiting for me when I got home.
So this months theme is "Spring Fever" and GlossyBox have teamed up with Pearl Lowe to create a limited edition vintage-inspired floral box, I love it!
So the first item I received was..
Crabtree & Evelyn- Somerset Meadow Hand Therapy
This hand cream is an exclusive Glossybox launch and is the latest line in the Crabtree & Evelyn fragrance collection and will be available to buy as of 29th April so this is a chance to try the product before it hits the stores! It is rich in macadamia nut oil, shea butter and contains vitamins C and E. It aims to restore dry, winter-worn skin while leaving a subtle aroma. I like the scent as it isn't too overpowering and I look forward to using this in the coming months!
Yves Rocher France- So Elixir Purple Eau de Parfum
First of all, I love the packaging of this sample in the small purple bottle and it makes a change from those tiny fragrance samples we normally get in beauty boxes! It is described as an 'intoxicating and magnetic fragrance' and is the perfect scent for the 'headstrong, passionate woman who embraces change and isn't afraid to reinvent herself' WOW. I really like the scent as it is strong and I only needed a small amount for it to be noticeable! Even after one use I am considering the full size!
Nip+Fab- Dry Skin Fix Body Butter in Coconut Latte
Let me begin by saying MMM, this stuff smells amazing and it's a pretty bold statement but personally, I prefer the consistency to that of Body Shop body butter because it is lighter and I find it easier to work into my skin! The product aims to repair dry and dehydrated skin with the 24-hour moisture-boosting ingredient Aquaxyl. I have tried a few Nip+Fab products so I can't wait to use this!
Essie- Nail Laquer in Penny Talk
I was so so excited to receive this in my box because Essie is one of my favorite nail polish brands and you can never have enough Essie! The color is a rose-gold/ copper shade so is right up my street because I love metallic shades.
Illamasqua- Medium Pencil in Elate
Again, when I saw an Illamasqua product in my box I was very excited as they are a very well known brand it is nice to receive higher end makeup in beauty boxes! The pencil is white so I will have to experiment with some looks but it is a lovely pencil to add to my collection.
So my overall thoughts on the April box are very positive! I think this is the best box I have received so far as I love all the products! I look forward to the arrival of my April Birchbox to compare to this!
