Morning! I’m 72% sure that I missed out on April… where did it go?! Why is my life whizzing by at an alarming rate?! I’m going to wake up tomorrow and suddenly be about 40, I just know it. If you saw last months favourites you’ll remember that I said I wasn’t really into monthly favourites and that March was probably going to be a one off… as you can tell by the title, that’s clearly not the case.
As I’ve said before; I’m a sharer. Which is strange as I was an only child so never had to share my toys… Let’s just get going.
Oh look, more candles. I have a serious candle problem. My favorite ones to burn this month have been ‘Strawberry Buttercream’ by Yankee Candle and ‘Warm Buttered Bread’ by Village Candle. These make the
whole of the upstairs smell amazing, and I’ve found that if I sit in the same room as the buttered bread one for a while the scent sticks to my clothes – I went to work and one of my ladies couldn’t work out where the smell was coming from!
I’ve just fallen back in love with this thing – I lost the charger for about two months. This is a TrueLink bluetooth speaker, and it’s bloody amazing. I’ve been using in alongside Spotify when I’m sick of the same 10 songs on the radio!

If you follow me on Instagram (links in the sidebar), then you’ll have noticed that I seem to have developed a rather strange cacti obsession… but not just any cacti, they have to be novelty ones. I actually stuck Karen’s (yep I’ve named them) eyes on myself as I was eager to expand my odd collection, but I think she’s pretty nifty in her recycled candle jar!
Something else I seem to have become rather infatuated with is the Body Shop, and specifically their coconut body mist. It smells so delightful. I’ve been spraying this in my hair after a shower so I get a tropical whiff every now and then!
I found this little canvas in a gift shop ages ago and thought it was pretty cute, but I actually think it’s a pretty good reminder to stop being so worried about doing things ‘the right way’ all the time!
And the last thing I’ve been into this month is my beloved AHS! I really do need to give in and buy the box sets as Netflix is starting to get on my nerves – they only have seasons 1-3! I’ve tried watching Freak Show ‘elsewhere’ but the quality’s so bad it’s pretty unwatchable. I can’t possibly choose a favorite season, so I thought I’d just watch them all again! Does anyone else find it impossible to hate Tate? I know he did a
few lot of bad things but… precious. Don’t judge me!
