April 2017 Allure Beauty Box Review

I was excited to see my April 2017 Allure Beauty Box in my mailbox. I usually love this subscription because they include well-known high-end brands. They include deluxe size samples and sometimes FULL-SIZE products.

A very detailed product description card is included. It is one of the best description cards I have seen. Allure Sample Society is now curated exclusively through Allure. They use to be curated through BeautyBar.

I love how well the Allure Sample Society Boxes come packaged! Everything looked so nice! I also really love the brands that were included this month. There were 5 products this month! I couldn’t wait to dig in!

REVIEW OF ITEMS:

Ahava Mineral Body Lotion

This is a sample size. It is a lightweight, fast-absorbing body lotion. I think it will be great for the warmer weather and I can’t wait to try it.

Dr. Brandt PoreDermabrasion Pore Perfecting Exfoliator

This is a sample size. It is an exfoliator that removes dead skin cells and deep-cleans pores. I really like the age-defying exfoliator by Dr. Brandt, so I am excited to try this one.

Skin & Co Roma Truffle Therapy Eye Concentrate

This is a sample size. It is a wrinkle-smoothing eye cream that hydrates and firms. I needed a new eye cream, so I will definitely be trying this one.

The BrowGal by Tonya Crooks Highlighter Pencil in 02 ($20)

This is a FULL SIZE! It has a shimmery gold side and a matte nude side. It looks a bit dark for my skin tone, so I will be giving it away.

LaRitzy Lip Pencil in Cabernet ($18)

This is a FULL SIZE! It is a deep-red lip pencil. I am not a huge fan of these lip liners because they aren’t very creamy. They also tend to tug at the lips. However, they do last awhile on the lips once you get them on. I will probably give this one away.

OVERALL IMPRESSION:

This month’s Sample Society Box was pretty good! However, I am really excited for the May box. This box has an amazing value. Allure is off to a great start to 2017 and I hope it continues. I loved the brands that were included and
