Apple Will Still Dominate Ultra Thin Notebook Market After the Launch of Windows 8

Although Windows 8 will be launched by the end of this year and with ultra thin notebook (ultrabook) with the latest Windows operating system will be available in the market, Apple will continue to dominate markets ultrabook during 2012. Digitime Research few days ago has issued a report that the MacBook Air from Apple dominates 50% of global shipments in the last quarter ultrabook although many other vendors are also ultra thin notebook market.
While the Microsoft Windows 8 platform echoes continues to strengthen, Digitimes Research estimates that shipments of Apple's MacBook Air will still outnumber the combined delivery of all Windows 8-powered ultrabook . Apple has announced an update on the line of MacBook Air at the 2012 WWDC event last month.
