pinging service You guys still remember the social networking service owned by Apple, Ping? There is nothing new or even know it? Apple's current CEO, Tim Cook finally dared to admit that social networking is not Apple's best ideas in the world. According to Cook, they have tried Ping, and they feel the user has been assessed and say this is not something that should be their focus. When asked about whether Apple will disable this service, Cook replied that he did not know, and will see it later. One thing is for sure, Ping will not have a chance to become a great social network before it can beat Google Plus before, so why should be maintained? This is the first time that Apple with its new CEO formally acknowledge that their product, Ping can be said to be far from successful. This service was first introduced in conjunction with iTunes 10 in September 2010. Ping is said to be a social network that focuses on music that is specifically present in iTunes, giving you access to follow a friend like you do on other social networks, see what song is hot on their playlist. Not only that, you are also able to follow your favorite musicians are also using the service. source
