Antipasto Squares

PictureAntipasto Squares
This is one of my favorite recipes to make!  Especially when you are kicking back and watching a movie but want something a little heavier than popcorn.  I could eat this breakfast lunch or dinner, hin  I got this recipe from Lori G at Allrecipes.com, and I LOVE it! I said that already, right?
With that being said, let's dive on in to making this dish.  First, let's crank the oven up to 350.  Then let's gather up all of our yummy ingredients.
Ingredients:
2 (10oz) cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1/4 pound thinly sliced ham
1/4 pound thinly sliced provolone cheese
1/4 pound thinly sliced swiss cheese
1/4 pound thinly sliced Genoa salami
1/4 pound thinly sliced pepperoni sausage
1 (12oz) jar roasted red peppers, drained and sliced into strips
3 eggs
3 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 Tsp ground black pepper
Directions:
Unroll one package of crescent roll dough and cover the bottom of a 9 x 13 dish.  Layer the ham, provolone, swiss, salami, pepperoni, and red peppers on top of the dough.
In a bowl, beat the eggs lightly and stir in the parmesan cheese and black pepper.  Pour 3/4 of this mixture over the peppers.
Unroll the second package of dough and place on top of the peppers.  Brush with the remaining egg mixture.  Cover with aluminum foil.
Bake:
Bake for 25 minutes in the preheated oven, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10-20 (I bake the full 20) minutes, or until dough is fluffy and golden brown.  Let stand for 5 minutes, then cut into squares, and serve warm or at room temperature.
You must try this one out and let me know what you think!
