Last week, the first live photo of Sony’s new handset wound up on the web, shortly followed by another one and alleged specs. Sony announced the Xperia Z1 Compact and the T2 Ultra phablet just last month, but the Sony Xperia G will be its first mid-range phone of the year.

The source of the leaked images claims that the Sony Xperia G will come with a 4.8in screen (although the resolution is still unknown), 8GB of internal storage (which you’ll easily be able to expand through a microSD slot visible in the first leaked image), 1GB of RAM and an 8-megapixel camera. It will also feature LTE connectivity. No information was revealed about the Xperia G’s processor.

Sony will most likely unveil the Sony Xperia G at the upcoming MWC 2014 in Barcelona (February 24 – February 27).
