Parisian label Anne Fontaine's newly relocated Boston boutique, first opened in 1997 as the line's first US outpost, is as charmant as always!

Earlier this moth, the boutique opened in a new location (on the same street as the original!) at 280 Boylston Street. A longtime staple shopping destination boasting neighbors like The Ritz, Bistro du Midi, the Public Garden, and the fancy end of Newbury street, Anne Fontaine is a go-to for a distinctly French chic that is often imitated but never duplicated. Head in to the rezhuzhed shop to stock up on the line's trademark crisp architectural blouses that are truly the crème de la crème. This season's collection also has a healthy dose of Mediterranean whimsy in the form of breezy silk shirtdresses and enough delicious silken ruffles to put a patisserie to shame!

The Rio-raised designer creates clothing and accessories - centered around the iconic white shirt that started it all in 1993 - for women who embody her same sense of timelessness, femininity, and individuality. Designed for a modern woman with an active lifestyle, the clothing is more than a pretty adornment - it's meant to be lived in, so each piece is created as a perfect accompaniment for her daily adventures - big and small.
I stopped by the new boutique to take some of my favorite pieces for a spin in the park, channeling my own inner Amazonian - with more than a hint of Parisian style.
