It was a true color story at Oscar de la Renta's Resort 2013 fashion show, held this week in New York City. The collection was filled with a veritable rainbow of colors, from classic black/white to stunning emerald green. And yet, the collection felt entirely consistent, the pieces tied together with Oscar's signature accents (girly florals, black netting, and draping).
What I love most about this collection was that it was truly decadent. While most resort collections are usually filled with relaxed beach ensembles for the Saint-Tropez set, Oscar brought the full-on glamour to New York City with looks that were designed from head-to-toe. The cobalt blue dress with the black lace overlay was pure Ladylike Chic and pureOscar.
