I can always drink a margarita! Seriously! Like to have a Martini, you kinda have to be in the mood to have a Martini. Same goes for Champagne Cocktail. But when it comes to margaritas, I am always in the mood. I can especially recommend margaritas for viewing Award Shows. Margaritas make even Oscars to fly by.
Amaretto Margarita is a simple recipe. It is made of two of my favorite ingredients – Amaretto and Margarita. Amaretto, which is quite a sweet liqueur, looses a lot of its sweetness if you use freshly squeezed lime juice in the Amaretto Margarita. With Rose’s bottled lime juice you can get away without adding any sugar, but not with the fresh lime juice. For these (as any) Amaretto Margaritas you can use both. For this specific recipe I actually squeezed lime juice – just to add that extra zing. My Amaretto Margaritas might look like baby-food in a jar, but don’t be fooled by that. They are just as delish and potent as your regular margarita.
