For Sterling Gray and Gray eyes:

  • Cooler tones such as navy or dark gray add a great contrast, and similarly, dark brown shades or smoky tones also do a good job in bringing out gray eyes.

For Gemstone Green and Green eyes:

  • Purple or a deep plum shadow can really bring out the hues in green eyes and make them look instantly lighter and brighter.

For Brilliant Blue and Blue eyes:

  • Stick to colors that are more neutral such as grays or browns, as they tend to complement the blue eye color instead of distracting from it.

For Pure Hazel, Honey and Brown eyes:

  • Honey and Brown tones have a wide range of color options when it comes to eye shadow. Having a darker eye-color, and since brown is already neutral, you can use any hue to make them pop. Allan’s favorite is adding peach or purple tones.
