But what did Alexander think of his character’s story?
I think how he ends fits with how he’s lived. He’s always had a clear mission and a clear agenda on his mind.
But while he may be happy with how Eric’s story ended, it didn’t mean he was happy with the show ending. With the conclusion of the final scene, Alexander had this to say:
It was unbelievably emotional. That show has been such a huge part of my life. I’ve met some really good friends on that set, and there is no doubt that they will remain close friends forever… The last scene I filmed, I was just trying to take it all in and I started crying.
So it wasn’t just Kristin Bauer van Straten who was crying about the demise of the show then.
