Marvel has announced that Battlestar Galactica star Edward James Olmos has joined the cast of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in a “major recurring role” and suggesting we’ll be seeing him soon once the show returns from hiatus.
Olmos is set to play Robert Gonzales, who will have “massive repercussions for Director Coulson and his team.”
Robert Gonzales is not based on any established Marvel character, so we’re not sure if he’s someone created new for the show or someone who we will eventually known and recognize (ala Skye aka Daisy Johnson)
