Just the other day we posted 2 separate videos showing Chloe Bennet from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. basically confirming that the blue alien that Coulson discovered was the body of a Kree. She has now gone to Twitter to backtrack and deny this confirmation:
Sooo I never “confirmed” that the alien was a Kree I said that’s one of my guesses as a FAN! I’m still guessing like all of you!

It definitely seems like she’s backtracking as what she says above is different from what the videos show her saying, with her talking about the alien being Kree as a matter of fact as she said “which we all know, as they say it”.
It’s only a matter of time now before we should know for sure. Seems they’ve just started filming the season 1 finale for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. so if we find out the alien’s race in an upcoming episode, which I’m suspecting we will, we’ll likely find out prior to the season finale.
