Well this came a little out of no where, but Chloe Bennett, who plays Skye on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. seemed to unknowingly reveal the race of the blue alien we saw in the episode T.A.H.I.TI.I. as Kree. While it was suspected that this could be the case due to similarities with Ronan in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy, this is the first form of any confirmation we’ve received.
The reveal came during a quick interview by Fanboy Comics at PaleyFest 2014. In the video below, Chloe speaks some about her character and her development, and refers to the blue alien as a Kree “which we all know, as they say it”. So it seems like she’s confused with what episode we’re up to in the seasons (can’t blame her there with all the breaks) and that it sounds like we’ll get confirmation on the show itself at some point, that the blue alien was in fact Kree.
