Take a good look at the picture – would you take your kids to school dressed like this?

What a very crazy lady eh?

Well actually no, meet my mommy blogging friend who blogs over at  Actually Mummy

“Mummy promised to wear a silver ball gown from her Twenties to her Eighties dress up Rock Choir rehearsal in aid of Comic Relief. She wanted 100 people to donate £1 each to make her do it.”

Now, not only did she wear this dress once, she decided to raise even more money for Comic Relief by promising to wear the silver dress again, this time on the school run? Mad? Quite possibly but after telling Facebook of her plans, her friends and other bloggers soon got in the mood and started donating, I think they all wanted to see her at the school gates dressed this way.

I personally think Helen from Actually Mummy is amazing and an inspiration to others.

I was sad to hear that other mums in the playground gave her odd stares and avoided her. What is so wrong with someone wanting to go that one step further to help children?

Shame on you for embarrassing your kids like that, what type of mother turns up at the school gates dressed liked that?

One who is a great role model and should be applauded I say, don’t you agree?

There is still time to donate by clicking on the link. Even 50p can buy a vaccine that will save a child’s life so what are you waiting for?
