Mahira Khan, the Pakistani beauty is all set to make her grand debut in Bollywood. The actress will star opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the upcoming film ‘Raees’.
Raees producer Ritesh Sidhwani confirmed the news on Twitter.
Rahul Dholakia, the National Award Winner for the film Parzania will direct the film Raees and it will be produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under Excel Entertainment. The film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
In the film Raees, Mahira plays SRK’s wife. Shah Rukh plays the role of a gangster based in Gujarat. Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the role of a cop who is up against the don.
Mahira Khan, a household name in Pakistan has become familiar in India too with her hit serials like Humsafar, Neeyat and Sadqay Tumhare (aired on Zindagi Channel in India).
The Karachi based actress made her film debut with Bol directed by Shoaib Mansoor.
