Acer recently announced Iconia A1, a 7.9inch budget tablet. The device comes with an amazing screen quality, with 1024x768 pixel resolutions, a quad core Media Tek processor and is available in two variants the 8GB and 16GB, with 1GB of RAM. The Acer Iconia A1 features a front facing camera and a rear camera with 0.3 MP and 5MP respectively.
The Nexus 7 is a thin, light and portable 7inch tablet that is built by Asus for Google. Google Nexus 7 comes with NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad core processor, which makes it absolutely fast to give best gaming and web experience a real delight. Nexus 7 was designed with gaming in mind and capable of running multiple apps. Nexus 7 features a vibrant 1280x800 resolution display and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. The device has a 32 GB of storage and gives a good backup.
Some interesting feature added to Acer Iconia A1 is the “Touch”. The tablet when switched off is capable of starting; it automatically allows opening any apps with a press of five fingers. While the Nexus 7 is featured with Gesture Typing-one could compose emails or text in a swap, which when compared to Acer Iconia is not very interesting when Tablets with touch facility would offer.
