I’m reviewing a budget foundation today for you all who have dry skin. Accessorize products are not easily available here in India though you can find them at some online shopping sites at a higher price but are quite easily available in UK.

My Take on Accessorize Picture Perfect Long Lasting Foundation:

Accessorize is a brand based in UK so their products are not easily available here in India. But brands like Accessorize, MUA and NYX provide paisa vasool products with amazing quality not like our cheap unknown brands here in India. Their products are so cheap starting from 100-200 and the most expensive can be a 1000 Rupee product. Wish, they were easily available here in India but you can find these brands easily on online shopping sites like Jabong, Medplusbeauty, Majorbrands where the price is double their original price but you can spend if you really want to try out these products as they are amazing for the price.

This foundation comes in a plastic beige colored tube with a silver screw cap. The nozzle of the tube is quite wide so you have to be careful not to press it hard or it will pour out an excess amount of the product which will get wasted, so press it with light hand. I feel a lot of product gets wasted due to the wide nozzle, most of the times it gets poured out in the cap due to the wide nozzle and the cap gets all messy. The texture of this foundation is creamy with flowy consistency, it easily spreads on face and blends easily.
I think only a small amount is enough with this foundation to cover the whole face and it is best suited for dry skin due to its creamy texture and dewy finish but still you may want to moisturize your skin before using any makeup or foundation.

It gives medium coverage with dewy finish. It feels sticky initially upon blending but the stickiness finishes as soon as it absorbs and blends nicely. The shade soft fawn is a good match for my NC 30-35 skin tone, it feels great on my skin, brightens my face, evens out the skin and gives my face good coverage. The foundation is beige in color with yellow undertones and is perfect for Indian skin tones. I think there are somewhere 5-6 shades available in this foundation and you can choose a shade for your skin tone. The coverage is medium so it doesn’t hide much of the scars, dark circles or blemishes so a concealer has to be used if you have problematic skin and want heavy coverage.

The finish of this foundation is dewy so oily skin girls will not like it much and moreover it makes my T zone oily after a few hours, yeah my dry skin also gets oily with this foundation so you probably won’t like it much if you have oily skin but definitely a great one for dry skin.

The staying power is 4-5 hours without touching up, it stays for more hours on my C zone that is my cheeks and chin but for less hours on my T-zone. The added bonus is the SPF 20 which is great if you are wearing it while going out in the sun. The SPF thankfully doesn’t leave any white caste and it photographs well due to the absence of Titanium Dioxide in this foundation. The foundation has a very light texture, doesn’t feel cakey or heavy though stickiness can be a problem sometimes and nor does it oxidizes (when skin turns darker after few hours using a foundation).

Do I Recommend Accessorize Picture Perfect Long Lasting Foundation:

If you have dry skin and are looking for light-medium coverage foundation then you will like this foundation but the problem is that it is not easily available. If you have oily skin, you better give it a skip unless you want to try it out badly, do away with the dewy finish by topping it with matte compact powder.
