ACCESS 2013 – Advances in Mapping Techniques for the Coastal Zone

The Atlantic Canada Coastal and Estuarine Science Society (ACCESS) is a a non-profit organization in Atlantic Canada that is composed of researchers, students, representatives from both government and non-government organizations, and individuals committed to the science of studying and managing coastal and estuarine habitats.

From May 9th through to the 12th, ACCESS will be hosting their annual three day conference at COGS in Lawrencetown. Various topics covered will include climate change, eutrophication, faunal ecology, monitoring, physical processes, and restoration. Special symposium and sessions will include “Advances in mapping techniques for the coastal zone” and “Invasive green crabs in coastal ecosystems“.

There will also be a free field trip on the last day, so ACCESS 2013 looks to be a jam packed informative session for all those that can make the time to attend.
