- Cody graduated from Rutgers and said "Could have took" Nice grammar Rutgers!
- Victoria's outfit for the POV was ridiculous
- All that talk from Cody about putting Caleb on the block, all that talk that his brother thought he'd be an idiot if he didn't put Caleb on the block, all that talk about NOT screwing Donny over. Talk, talk, talk…I love Caleb but Cody…that was horrible game play. Caleb absolutely should have been put up. Of course I'm relieved that he wasn't, but I like good game play as much as I like Caleb's abs.
I'm really into American Muscle. I love Mike and the Barwis gang. I love laying on my couch with my chips and salsa watching super strong athletes getting their ass kicked by Tank, Dan, and Deets. This week one of my favorite ex-Yankees, Nick Swisher, hit the training center with his huge smile, huge personality and huge heart. He worked his ass off and was touched by a young paraplegic kid who was also working his ass off and not with a 70 million dollar pay day attached to his success. Tank tried to pimp his ride for 500 bucks but the boxcar he drives looked exactly the same to me when he got it back. Dusty, well…he's a 400 lb receptionist who hates phones what more can you say about the guy? There's always a lot of food in the office and every one's drinking shakes and talking a lot of smack. What I love about Mike is that he's scary and tells you he loves you all at the same time. Lots of hugs and heart. Good show.
THE OTHER STUFF
-I'm setting my DVR for Conan on 8/4 and you should too if you are an Orange is the New Black fan. The entire cast will be on going Conan that night. Taylor Schilling, Laverne Cox, Uzo Aduba, Kate Mulgrew, Natasha Lyonne and Jason Biggs. If you know any or all of their characters names on the show, let me know for some bonus points.
-Good News for the Letterman staff, Angelo's Pizza and that pie place next door...Stephen Colbert will be moving in to the Ed Sullivan theatre, just a few blocks east from where he does the Colbert Report now. To all my MediaVest and CBS friends...the lines of annoying tourists will continue!
-The CW pulled Seed and Backpackers after 2 episodes each. Suggestion to Mark Pedowitz: let the viewers help you! Take note from Amazon Prime...post your shows online and let your viewers schedule their own Summer!!! The CW's audience is already very social when it comes to their CW programs...let US help YOU Mark!!! What have you got to lose at this point???
