Personal LifeI was married to my high school sweetheart in 2005.
I joined my husband's family log home business at that time as a draftswoman.
I have since attended a short architecture program in college that gave me the confidence to call myself a designer.
I took up gardening in 2010 and fell in love.
My baby boy was born June 14, 2011 and forever changed me.
Passions
I love crafts. They sooth and comfort me. Also, there is nothing like giving somebody something you made with your own hands.
Breastfeeding, if possible, is so important.
I believe in healthy living.
I strive to put only healthy things on my baby, like cloth diapers and non-toxic products.
I practice attachment parenting.
My Website
I want to share what I am learning every day as a new mother. We are all in this together and I hope to learn and grow with my readers.
I strive to live a healthy and non-toxic lifestyle. I hope to bring forth some unique and simple ideas on how to accomplish that.
I would hate for anyone to get in a craft rut. I will try new crafts and post my successes and failures.
I love to know what others think of a product before I spend my hard earned money on it. When I get a new product (mostly parenting related) I will provide an unbiased review.
I'm on Facebook too. Check me out!
Tolerance
Just because I practice all of the above mentioned things, does not make me feel that I am a better person. It is easy in the "crunchy mama" world to get caught up in the who is crunchier and better game.
I don't play it.
I am tolerant and respectful of all mothers who try their best to raise their children right. We can all use some help and I hope to give that as well as receive it from my readers.
Please be kind. We only get one chance at life on this earth and we should try our absolute best to make it wonderful! God bless you in your journey.
