Abbie's 2nd Birthday Party!

Good morning all! Apologies for being MIA recently, as you probably know if you follow me on Twitter & Instagram, it was Abbie's birthday last week so we've been crazy busy organising everything! I wrote a little post on Thursday which you can read below this one :) On Saturday we had a little birthday party for her 2nd Birthday, we know she won't remember it but wanted to do something a little more special this time round! The forecast was warm but cloudy with a chance of showers so Abbie's grandparents put up a big marquee to keep everyone sheltered and the food dry! It ended up looking perfect and the weather just about held out for us! Yay! We decorated using some gorgeous little bits from The Little Party Shop which I will go through during the photos incase any of you are interested, and we had an amazing cake made especially for her too, lucky girl! It ended up being a really lovely afternoon, albeit a few tantrums and over excitedness, things went smoothly! :)  I've added all the links to everything we bought after all the pictures if you are interested :)

Abbie's AMAZING birthday cake! She's got an obsession with owls at the moment so this was the perfect design! In all honesty, this was not only the most gorgeous looking cake i've ever seen, but easily the most delicious too! We went for a vanilla buttercream and jam filling! So yummy!
