On “Shabba” A$AP Ferg, perhaps the second most prolific member of the A$AP Mob, sings a slightly agile hook that shouts out Shabba Ranks, a legendary Jamaican style icon. It could be awkward but Ferg has the gracefulness to pull it off, along with his dexterous and skillful flow. Fellow A$AP Mobber, A$AP Rocky provides a persistent verse consistent with his Harlem idiosyncrasies. The beat is one of those eerie reverb soaked New York gems that is just as compelling as it is creepy.
