I was introduced to Nelly a few months ago and have since become a regular The scarf has been on my wish list now for a while. It's from the label 'Rules By Mary'. The quality in the wool is to die for making it ideal for the cold weather. And since I've bought it, I haven't stopped wearing it! I ADORE the pom poms, it brings me back to my childhood where I'd spend hours upon hours making different multi coloured pom poms which littered my room. The cream and the burgundy make the scarf an instant classic piece that i'll be able to keep in my wardrobe in years to come and keep getting it out occasion after occasion .
This necklace was another item along with the scarf that had been on my Nelly wish list and I was surprised when I found out it was from their own jewellery range! I never usually wear necklaces and you'd normally never catch me wearing a statement piece like this. However the simplicity of this design is what really won me over and it seems to instantly complete any outfit, whilst still maintaining that effortless look.
We all know how much I love a chunky jumper for the winter. However, surprisingly I lack a simple black one. So I thought this problem needed to be quickly fixed. I've seen a lot of these 'wet look' jumpers around and this one is just perfect. The label is 'Vero Moda' and again this has been an item that I don't quite know how I've lived without! It goes with every item in my wardrobe and the length is so flattering. Even though it is reasonably baggy, it still maintains a nice fit with it's 3/4 length sleeves.
For what seems a lifetime, I've been on the search for some faux leather leggings that, 1. Don't make me look like a whale and 2. Don't take 15 minutes to get on then take off! These bad boys from label 'Pieces' are just right, I don't feel like they are glued to my legs and if I'm completely honest they're possibly the comfiest thing I've ever popped on! Any shortys out there do not be scared to brave these, because the sheen makes them really flattering and elongates the legs a treat. When I bought them I thought they'd be more of a going out item, however I've recently found myself wearing them more often with chunky jumpers teamed with my faux fur gilet and a pair of boots. A great item if you want a quick change from day to evening.
