a Run, Breakfast, and Family All Before 10am

By Marensmorsels @marentweets

Happy Weekend! Today is looking like it’s going to be a great day. Yesterday I didn’t get  blog post in, but I ran 2.22 miles at 11 min pace. I wasn’t too thrilled about it, gotta get back down to sub 10 min miles.

Max’s birthday present finally came in the mail. He’s gone in Hawaii for another 10 days and he arranged for my birthday present to come in the mail while he’s gone so I wouldn’t be sad missing him. Such a great boyfriend. Look at what it is!!!

I’m still figuring out how to use everything. I did a run this morning to get used to it. I did a little 1.6 mile jog at 10:54 average pace. I’m improving!

In all honesty I thought the route from my house to the restaurant would be around 2 miles. But I used the pace tool on the Garmin (which I have appropriately named Gary) to push myself to stay in the 10 min mile pace. I was definitely more tired from the quicker pace.

I love it! If you don’t have one definitely do it!

Breakfast

My cousin Steven, who has been living with my Grandma for the summer to work with my Uncle and Dad is leaving to go back to Boston today. So we all met at Elli’s for breakfast.

I started with some hot tea and water.

I added a packet of Half & Half to my Awake tea.

I made my breakfast from the Side Order Menu. 2 eggs cooked over medium, bacon and country potatoes.

The country potatoes were delish with whole spinach leaves and red onions. They were a little spicy, love!

My cousins, Steven on the left and Ross on the Right wanted to be featured on the blog with their breakfasts.

Then Burke wanted to show you all his shoe…

Strange kid! Actually Ross spilt his hot chocolate and it got on Burke’s new shoes so he’s documenting so he can get a new pair.
