A quick wrap-up about the latest PlayStation experience

Thousands of fans have traveled from the farthest recesses of the globe to join the annual PlayStation Experience in San Francisco. This massive gathering is even watched by thousands of fans online who wants to get a glimpse of the future of PlayStation gaming. Missed the Experience? Well lucky you, I went and I’m willing to impart what transpired there.

Ready for the wrap-up? Here we go!

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Nathan Drake has been hunting treasures for so long now that I wonder if this “end” is really the end. The keynote started with this latest installment and oh boy, the Beta is mouth-wateringly good.

Also, Gearbox Software is making PlayStation 4 the first console where players can enjoy Battleborn, early access to the beta will get you a special hero for FREE!

Street Fighter V – F.A.N.G. Capcom introduced a tricky new character, F.A.N.G joins the Street Fighter V roster. The new character (which is obviously a Chinese) fights like Faust, Valdo, and Menishao combined. Personally, he looks like a Guilty Gear character that didn’t make the final cut.

MBL 16: The Show. The best baseball franchise in town has returned for another hard-hit game. This game is being programmed to work with Sony’s PlayStation VR launch in 2016. Games like Eagle Flight from Ubisoft, The Modern Zombie Taxi Co. from Sony Santa Monica, 100ft Robot Golf from No Goblin, Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin from Double Fine, Rez Infinite, Ace Combat 7 from Namco Bandai, and Golem will also be rigged for the new immersive gaming technology.

Destiny: The Taken King. The trailer for this awesome game is so good I might actually have cried a bit inside. You get to race like Anakin using his custom-build Podracer for the Boonta Eve Podrace. Sparrow Racing League is marvelous in all sense. Check it out.

Sony has been very vocal about their gratefulness to the fans of PlayStation. They affirmed that without the fan’s passion and support, they won’t be able to launch a successful PlayStation Experience event. I’m just here and thinking to myself, “Heck, we’re the ones who should be thankful for all the awesome games and experience the people in Sony has given us all these years.

PlayStation 4 Exclusives

Two new PS4 exclusives will also be released The first, Hob, comes from Runic Games the makers of Torchlight. The RPG game will remind you of Zelda, CTR in first person, and a few other cartoonish/animated RPG games.

The other one, which Epic Games gave us a deeper look at what they are calling a “MOBA-ass MOBA”. The game puts you in the fight with explosive action, striking third-person control, and deep strategic choice. Paragon is an open world, action, robo awesomeness that will remind you of Crysis, HALO and God of War combined. Don’t believe me? Check it out.

P.S. The song literally made the trailer. Man that song is always epic.

Both PS4 exclusive games will arrive in 2016, so get ready for some cost-cutting and save some cash for these upcoming games.

That’s it! I bet you’re overflowing geek-juice right now. What games are you playing this holiday? Share it with us in the comments below!
