A Painted Toucan

The Toucan is a fun bird to draw and paint as that giant beak is just begging for some creative experimentation. You can go realistic with solid colors, or what I call the “Fruit Loop” approach with lots of fun stripes. This one was drawn in pencil, traced with a black Sharpie, and painted with tempera cake paints.
