A Little Winter Walk

Hello all! One of my New Year's resolutions was to spend more time as a family, not necessarily places that cost money or places too far away, but even local areas such as the woods and public footpaths etc, we are so lucky to live where we do, we are surrounded by so much beautiful scenery and Abbie definitely loves being around nature, just like I did as a child! So as Ben has a few days off, we headed out for a walk on Saturday, we wrapped ourselves up (except Ben who seems to have a weird aversion to wearing coats and jumpers!), Abbie had her new cosy coat from Zara as well as her new wooly winter hat too, she looked like a little michelen man but much MUCH cuter! :). She has a bit of an obsession with trees at the moment and walked up to so many and just stared at all the different types too! She absolutely cannot walk anywhere, it's either running or skipping the entire way, which does help with her wearing herself out for bedtime so we love it! The cold doesn't bother her either, her little hands were icy cold but she refused to wear her mittens so that's her fault ;).  It's just lovely to spend time together just the three of us, being around nature and enjoying the imagination of a toddler running around, bliss!
