Eek I've been absent from blogging all week and it just doesn't feel right! I've been super busy with university work and a lack of natural light when I get home at night has stopped me taking decent photos so you can expect a post writing overhaul at the weekend. But alas, I'm back to blogging and today I just have a little haul for you. I was always planning on giving my Mum some Lush goodies for Mother's Day as she adores a good pamper whenever possible and last night after (finally) using her Sex Bomb bath ballistic she was in such a Lush mood. So today I nipped into Lush on my way home from university and picked up these goodies for Mother's Day. These were the Washing Up Fairy wand, Space Girl bath bomb, Creamy Candy bubble bar and the Bunty gift set.
I'd originally set my eyes on the Washing Up Fairy wand online and knew it would be perfect for Mother's Day, especially after all the success of the Snow Fairy Wand (hurry up Christmas!!) . Priced at just £3.75 I think it is fab value as you get so many swishes out of the wand and as always it smells absolutely gorgeous, this time smelling like a lovely version of lemon washing up liquid. Clever Lush. I also picked up the Space Girl bath bomb as I love them and wanted my Mum to give them a try, and at only £1.95 you can't really complain with a lilac tinted bath and very moisturised skin. Next was the Creamy Candy bubble bar and I'll be honest and say that I picked it up mainly because it was pink and pretty looking with the little flower. Yes I am swayed by pink and girlie things. This bubble bar smells of sweets and costs £2.45 per piece which I think is very reasonable considering you could get about two or three baths from a single piece. Finally I picked up the Bunty gift set which is infact a Mother's Day present from my brother but as I seemed to be doing his shopping today as well (lazy sod or what) I thought I would include it. This set includes another Creamy Candy bubble bar, a Mini Comforter bubble bar, a Butterball bath bomb and a Keep it Fluffy bath bomb and costs £13.50. All in all I had a fun day in Lush and I'm sure I could have bought the whole shop if money wasn't an issue.
