I hope you all have a wonderful Mother’s day and know how much you are appreciated. And for all those that have lost their mother, my heart goes out to you as this is a very hard time of year!

Dear Mom,

Honestly, I don’t even know how to begin to thank you for all that you have done for me. So, I will start by simply saying THANK YOU for everything!! Seriously, you are such an amazing woman and I don’t know what I would do without you.

Thanks for giving me life. I thank God that He blessed me with you as my mom. So many people are not as lucky as me to have such a loving mother. I never want to take you for granted. Watching you proves to me that there really is a God that loves me. You live out His word every single day and have brought me up to love and understand Him. Thanks a million for that.

I know that I have not always been easy and that I have made many mistakes throughout my life. I have broken your heart, made you cry, infuriated you, and caused you pain. For all these things, I am so sorry. Thanks for always being by my side and forgiving me when I have hurt you. You have never turned your back on me and I truly appreciate it.

You are humble, kind, caring, selfless, funny, understanding, and an amazing listener. You are my best friend and the one I turn to for advice. I love talking to you and trying to figure out life with you. You always make me laugh when I am sad and you listen to all my problems.

I hope one day to be half as amazing as a mom as you are. I have some HUGE shoes to fill, but you have taught me so much. You are the best mom I could ever ask for and I am so happy I didn’t have to ask for you. I was blessed and I will always remember that.

You know no stranger and do so much for people. I love watching you care so much for others. You do all that many times without thanks and without recognition. You do it simply because you love people so much. I know God says our reward is not on earth, it is in heaven. Well, you are going to have one HUGE award one day (hopefully, not for a long time because I don’t want to lose you). I am looking forward to being there as you accept your heavenly award and I will be all smiles!

Mom, you are an amazing and beautiful woman. I truly inspire to be like you one day and to show my children as much love as you have shown me. I speak on behalf of all your children when I say, WE LOVE YOU SO VERY MUCH.
