There’s nothing better than a good old stroll in the countryside for a Dorset engagement shoot.
Meeting up with Louise and James ahead of their wedding in July was a joy. Great weather, open heathland and the chance to get some lovely natural portraits of the couple ahead of the big day. One of which, to be chosen as the centerpiece of their signing board for guests to leave their mark & good wishes!
Its natural for many married couples to have some stunning wedding images displayed around their home and rightly so! The biggest day, proudly on display.
An engagement shoot isn’t to be seen as some sort of dry run or a getting to know one another session. Its something more than that – its opportunity to have some great pictures in another context, in casual clothing, natural, relaxed and in a setting that says something about you as a couple.
Most of us rarely take the opportunity of using a professional photographer outside the big occasions such as weddings. It may be viewed by many as a over looked luxury, yet it does provide some memorable pictures to compliment, sit along side and split up those epic shots form your wedding day.
Louise & James’ Dorset engagement shoot delivered some great images. The signing board has been assembled and presented, everything is all go! Now I’m looking forward to catching their wedding day story come July.
