A "Checkered" Present

Outfit: Button Up- J.Crew, Scarf- Madewell, Jeans- Old Navy, Sandals- Old Navy

Oh my did I never want to wear purple. Purple in fact was my least favorite color. But a part of me wanted to try it again. So I picked up a few pieces and added some navy in and viola! I actually don't hate it! Excuse my bandaged toe...but look how fantastic those J.Crew sandals are? I'm actually obsessed with them. Adding a pop of navy into any outfit is the perfect way to balance it out. The look, made up with a gingham shirt and boyfriend jeans, was the perfect outfit to wear for a trip into Victor, NY for the day. The day was oh so much fun and I shared in one of the best meals I've had in a long time with my family. The weather felt like fall and we were able to sit outside with the breeze blowing. My parents and grandparents ordered pizza chips which I'm assuming were delicious because they cleaned their plates. But mine...woah buddy...mine was SO good! Gluten free pizza with basil pesto sauce, parmesan, and pepperoni; a gluten free gals pizza dream. Seriously my taste buds were singing. If y'all are ever in Victor, NY go to Lucca's! It's well worth it! xoBCC
