Happy New Year English Wedding Showcase followers! The year is off to a flying start – it’s already the 10th of January and I saw the first ad campaign for Valentines Day yesterday…madness! 
Today I’d like to share a bit of ‘romance in the African sun’. I’m originally from South Africa and each year I have the pleasure of doing a couple shoot or two while I’m home visiting family. This year I will actually be in South Africa for a whole month in March – shooting a few weddings and portrait shoots. Christelle & Dawid’s couple shoot took place in Melville, Johannesburg in November last year. Melville is an uber cool, arty suburb in Jo’burg, filled with funky cafes and the most beautiful old buildings. I joined them for a glass of wine at one of these cafes (Service Station) on a hot Sunday afternoon. Afterwards we took a short drive to their house where Jack, their adorable dog, was waiting for us to take him for a walk! He really made an effort – the red tie looked very dashing!
