I do want to read Geek Girl, and The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. I am too old to read Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and I think I was too old to read it when it was released. I was a teenager when Angus, Thongs, and Full Frontal Snogging was out, and I definitely read it before seeing the film, I do sort of love that film.

I own The Perks of Being a Wallflower, I just haven’t read it yet. I’m currently reading The Book Thief so I don’t think that counts. A Street Cat Named Bob has just never appealed to me and I won’t be picking it up. I am currently reading the Percy Jackson series, and I’ve read the first 2 books but will be completing the series, so I’ve decided I can count that. Of course I’ve read Harry Potter! The Great Gatsby is on my TBR shelf waiting for me to get to it, I’ve attempted the read the Lord of the Rings however I just can’t get into The Fellowship of the Ring, I’ve tried so many times and yet The Hobbit is an easy read. I remember Northern Lights being popular to read in my early years of secondary school but it has never leaped out of me. I have The Life of Pi on my kindle, but I don’t know if I will get round to reading it, I know I should but I don’t really fancy it.

I will never be reading Of Mice and Men, my sister studied it for GCSE and told us a little about part of the story, and I was in tears, I cannot put myself through reading the whole book. I am likely to buy it and have it sat in my book cupboard though. The two I have read are The Time Travellers Wife and My Sisters Keeper, both are great books but I didn’t cry when reading The Time Travellers Wife, I don’t even think I cried when watching the film. I also prefer some of Jodi Picoults other books, I wouldn’t have chosen My Sisters Keeper to be in this list, but it is her most popular.

The only one of these I haven’t read is Forever, and I don’t think I will be any time soon. I own 4 copies of Wuthering Heights in 3 different editions, so I think we can say it’s one I like. Although I’ve read Twilight it’s not a book which is in my collection any longer, and it won’t be returning.

I read City of Bones and enjoyed it but just couldn’t get into City of Ashes and so I won’t be completing the Mortal Instruments series. I have ordered the full Divergent Trilogy in matching covers, I currently have the movie edition of Divergent, and I don’t like it. I fancy reading Rebecca and A Clockwork Orange at some point but I will not be reading Skulduggery Pleasant.

I did say that I didn’t think I would have read many and I haven’t, but quite a few of them are on my list of books which I want to read once I’ve got my TBR pile down to a manageable amount.
