Today, I'm going to be talking about 5 mistakes that I see Entrepreneurs make. The best part about this is that this mistake isn't just to somebody that just starting out. If you have been in the business for 10 to 20 years, it doesn't matter. Entrepreneurs constantly make mistakes, and that is what makes use unique.
1. Expect Success Very Early
They always think they'll just start a business and things gonna run smoothly, and they will be making money on day one. That is usually not the cases, I'm here to tell you to fail first, fail from whatever business you are running, I'm not saying you should try to fail. Am just saying you should push it to the limit, once you get to that point where you gonna fail, keep pushing through, try to make it a successful business. By failing over and over again, you are going to learn all the new things, new keys, new strategy, new secret, everything you need to know to be successful.2. Not Adapting
You need to learn to adapt, it doesn't matter what business you're in. For me, I started offline and then move to online, so my entire business as being online. For the people that didn't start online, started offline, like a construction company, landscape business, whatever it's.Those people are not adapting, they're not on social media, not using youtube, Facebook, Instagram, twitter, email, they only have a website. Those people are making a big mistake, they've not adapted to technology today. Not adapted to the new way of life, which is using the internet, using social media, trying to get directly to the personal phone.Let take Amazon, for example, Amazon started in a garage selling books, then they went to home improvement, health & beauty, etc. That's because they're learning to adapt, they're adapting very quickly and most people can't keep up with that, that is why Amazon is very successful today, just because they learn to adapt.
3. Wasting Money
They wast money on soo many things, it doesn't matter what you are spending your money on, you need to figure, it's something you need, it's something you just want or something you can't live without. Most things that Entrepreneurs buy is something they can live completely without, maybe it's a new car, fancy house whatever it's, it doesn't matter, you can probably live without it. The reason I say this is just because I see soo many new Entrepreneurs who are just starting out maybe 5 years.
They spend their start-up capital/money on stupid things. Only invest in something that you do need, that's going to help you and your business grow. If it doesn't help your business grow, don't do it, just hold on to the money, it's more important that you hold on to the money than spend it on something stupid.Use your money to invest, not to spend.4. They Do Everything Themselves
I have seen soo many Entrepreneurs, they're one Entrepreneurs team, how can you be a one Entrepreneurs team? don't you need more people on your team? If you think you can be a successful Entrepreneurs by doing everything yourself, and be 100% efficient every single day. You are wrong. You need to hire people, you need to outsource.
A Wise man told me.There are 3 things you can do 1. You can drop it.If something doesn't need to be done, just drop it.2. You can delegate it.If it's something that needs to be done, but you don't have to do it personally, then delegate it to somebody else. That is where outsourcing comes in.3. If it needs to be done. And you need to be the one to do it, then do it, get it done and move on.
