A few weeks ago I sent my subscriber friends a survey asking them what they'd like to see this year on the blog. Their answer was easy to make recipes that include Weight Watchers points and nutrition information.
The next request was for more dessert recipes, and since I aim to please, this 5 Ingredient Friday post shares my favorite super easy, slender desserts.
When it comes to dessert, I don't know one person who would turn down chocolate, especially if it's combined with peanut butter.
No Bake Cookies with Peanut Butter and Jelly Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake in a MugThis is especially true of my hubby, Mr. Mike. Chocolate takes Mike to his happy place, and if Mike's happy, we're all happy!
Mike and I spent time in Maui a few years back where we bought chocolate dipped bananas that were to die for, so I recreated that happy trip by making my own calorie-friendly, portion controlled version of our tasty find.
Frozen Bananas Dipped in Dark Chocolate, Walnuts and CranberriesChocolaty Cake in a Cup (Technically this has six ingredients, but worth a mention.)
No Bake Cookies with Dark Chocolate, Oats and CoconutPersonally, I prefer fruity desserts like these wonton cups I baked in muffins tins, then filled with strawberries and whipped cream.
Wonton Cups with Sliced Strawberries and Whipped Cream Sunshine Citrus Fruit Salad with Oranges, Pineapple, Coconut and Walnuts Grilled Peaches with Pomegranate Balsamic SyrupThis strawberry and peach verrine is fun for kids to make. Simply layer fruit, angel food cake and whip cream into serving sized glasses and serve. It doesn't get easier than that!
Sweet Strawberry and Peaches Verrine with Angel Food CakeI'll finish today's 5 Ingredient Friday post with an orange pudding reminiscent of my favorite childhood creamsicle. I combined my two favorite treats in one bowl - creamsicles and pudding!
Orange Creamsicle Pudding with Cara Cara OrangesThat's all for this Friday folks! I know everyone is beyond busy these days, but I'd love your input too! If you can spare a minute, please fill out this survey of just ten questions. Your feedback helps me provide the best content I can for you.
Thank you!
