“When you set an intention, when you commit, the entire universe conspires to make it happen.”  Sandy Forster

Setting intentions creates focus and brings energy to what you want to create and how you want to experience the world.  This can be incredibly powerful when starting, growing, and running a business.  Here are some common ways that you can use intentions to move your business forward.

Overall Intention Statement for Your Business

Having an intention or mission statement is a foundational piece of creating a business.  It can provide focus and guide every action and interaction that takes place within your company.

How You Show Up and Interact with People

Taking a deep breath and setting an intention before stepping into a meeting or conversation will help you feel centered, confident, and focused on your desired outcome.  It can also be very calming before networking or speaking before groups.

The Things You Create

When clients ask me to review their marketing materials, programs, or other creations, I start by asking about the intention behind them.  Bringing clarity through intention to your  projects helps the creation and review processes flow with ease and grace.

Your Experience Within the Business

This often overlooked area may be one of the most important. How you feel will directly impact the results you receive.  Having an intention that reminds you to stay balanced, release stress, or whatever is important to you, can re-energize and empower you and your business.  If you find yourself feeling overwhelmed or falling into misbeliefs that business is hard or success is unavailable to you, your intentions can make all the difference in the world.
