This non-stick property of Teflon Cookware is achieved with the coating of PTFE known as polytetrafluoroethylene which tends to leach toxins if heated above 572 degrees Fahrenheit. This toxin is not only dangerous to people, but they are also fatal to pet birds like parrots. Another chemical compound found in Teflon cookware is PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid) which causes cancer like breast, prostate, and ovarian cancer.

ALUMINIUM COOKWARE AND FOIL

It is no surprise that the use of aluminum is so widespread everywhere but besides being the most abundant metal it is a very strong, versatile, lightweight, and recyclable.
